Improved Multiplayer Security

We've shipped a significant update to our multiplayer infrastructure that blocks most modified game clients from connecting to official servers.

This has been one of the most-requested improvements from our community. Modified clients were causing unfair advantages in competitive modes and disrupting the experience for legitimate players.

What changed:

- Server-side validation now checks client integrity on connection - Players using modified builds will be unable to join official multiplayer lobbies - Existing bans for cheat-related behavior remain in place - No changes to single-player or offline modes

If you're playing on a legitimate, unmodified copy of the game and believe you've been incorrectly blocked, please contact support with your Player ID and we'll investigate.

We'll keep improving our anti-cheat systems with future updates. Thank you to everyone who reported issues and helped us track down specific exploits.
